Until carbon neutrality, our goal is to make the environment even better

The Genesis and Evolution of THEKIE

Founded in 2017, THEKIE began its journey with the development of the CE3-BEDS, an Integrated Building Energy Diagnosis System, marking its entry into the energy management sector. This initial innovation set the foundation for THEKIE to establish itself as a prominent energy management company in South Korea.

2018: THEKIE quickly expanded its technological base, demonstrating Zero Energy Building Element Technology and developing an Energy Monitoring System for rural public facilities. This year also saw the development and demonstration of EMS for distribution and logistics facilities, and the inception of a Blockchain-based Public Administration Platform, showcasing THEKIE's commitment to integrating advanced technology with energy solutions.

2019: THEKIE's expansion continued internationally with demonstrations of FEMS in Vietnam and participation in a seminar on xEMS skills hosted by the Vietnam Central Power Corporation. The same year, THEKIE signed an investment agreement with Korea Electric Power Corporation Energy Valley, further solidifying its market position.

2020: THEKIE strengthened its IP portfolio with patents for a Multipurpose sensor device and building energy management method and for energy management devices and methods using multiple database servers. Developments also included xEMS in Vietnam for cable and electronic equipment parts factories and a demonstration in a domestic food factory, proving the effectiveness and adaptability of THEKIE's solutions in diverse industrial settings.

2021: Focused on refining technologies and expanding their applications, THEKIE developed KIE-MECS and introduced CxEMS & TOC in domestic distribution and logistics facilities, enhancing operational efficiencies and energy management.

2022: The development of KIE-REMU underscored THEKIE's ongoing innovation in renewable energy management, reinforcing its role as a leader in energy solutions.

2023: A landmark year for THEKIE, with significant achievements including:

  • Participation in the prestigious COP28 Technology Exhibition in Dubai, highlighting its global outreach and technological prowess.

  • Acquisition of a Certificate of Venture Enterprise, affirming its innovative business model and potential for growth.

  • Achievement of GS Certification (Level 1), validating the quality and reliability of its solutions.

  • Official registration as a supplier of RTU by the Korea Energy Agency, cementing its authoritative standing in the energy sector.

  • Development of the Lucia Platform, a Carbon Credit Trading Platform that represents a strategic pivot towards leveraging blockchain technology to facilitate carbon credit trading in an efficient and transparent manner.

Developing Lucia: The Next Chapter in THEKIE's Journey

With the development of the Lucia platform, THEKIE is entering a new phase focused on addressing global challenges related to carbon emissions. Lucia is designed to harness the potential of blockchain technology to create a decentralized platform for carbon credit trading, aligning with global efforts to combat climate change. Through Lucia, THEKIE is not just contributing to environmental sustainability but also setting new standards for how energy management and carbon credit trading can be integrated and optimized.
